Cinnamon Spice Matcha Smoothie

This cinnamon spice matcha smoothie is made with bananas, spinach, almond butter, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and avocado to make it extra creamy! Oh, and a date for a little sweetness of course.



  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp matcha powder (I use Rishi’s Barista Blend)
  • 1 date
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 3/4 of a medium frozen banana (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 pinches ginger
  • 2 pinches cardamom
  • 48 ice cubes (depending how cold you like smoothies)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.


  1. If you like your smoothies ultra creamy, try freezing the peeled avocado the day before and using it in your smoothie!
