This Green Avocado Banana Smoothie is the BEST green smoothie recipe. Basically, it has ALL THE GOOD STUFF in it.
It’s creamy and packed with yummy ingredients like:
- almond butter
- vanilla extract
- frozen spinach
Naturally, you really can’t go wrong with any recipe that has nut butters, banana, and cinnamon. I tried to keep it to the basics but you can always add more fun ingredients. Some ideas would be collagen protein, flax seeds, chia seeds, etc. You can find the collagen I like to use here. Also, you can top it with even more goodies. Granola, coconut flakes, blueberries, and extra oozing almond butter are some of my favs to put on top.
I have a smoothie almost every morning. You can basically throw a bunch of stuff into a blender and magic happens in literally 5 minutes. I say “this is the best smoothie I’ve ever had” several times a week. And I genuinely do mean it every time I say it. That’s how much I love smoothies. This Green Avocado Banana Smoothie (or some variation of it) is usually my go to. What are your favorite go to smoothie flavors? Are you a nut butter/banana lover like me or do you like to go the more fruity route? Let me know in the comments below!Print
This Green Avocado Banana Smoothie is the BEST green smoothie recipe ever. It’s creamy and packed with yummy ingredients like almond butter, avocados, banana, cinnamon, dates, and vanilla extract. Basically, it has ALL THE GOOD STUFF.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3/4 of a medium frozen banana
- 1/2 medium avocado
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 dates
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients (including ice to taste) in a blender until smooth and creamy.
- I like my smoothies extra cold so I usually put about 8-10 ice cubes but you can vary the amount based on how you like it!
- Fresh spinach works in this recipe too; it just might alter the consistency a little bit.
